Adolph Hitler Non Portable NSDAP Award Plakette

Price: 360 €

These are official non portable awards given to mid level NSDAP leaders not just a random patriotic item. The designers initials are seen on the obverse and the maker Vogel is seen on the reverse with the motivational slogan, here is also a description from one of the many forums.....officially recognized non-portable award. Many collectors think it was "just" another WW2 plaque, but this is not true. The plaque's are know to be made of bronze and some of an inferior painted material, possibly iron. The weight is quite considerable and their measurements are 95 mm bij 141 mm. The plaques have been designed by famous German designer Heinrich Mosage. The abbreviation on the lower right of Hitler's image, "HM", is his trademark and can be found on most of his (other) designed art and awards. Many people still don't know that it was Mosage who designed these plaque's. Originally the plaque's were awarded in a hardcover and quite large and luxuary case, with a seperate "bed" for the plaque to rest in. The reverse of the plaque is hollow and has a very distinctive hook for display purposes, to make it possible to hang it for example on a wall. Makers of the plaques were at least "F. Vogel, W. Barmen" and "Adolf Trumpf from Hannover", it is possble that one or two more makers made them. The plaques were largely presented to middle-ranking political and state officials in recognition of special achievement
