Within Europe

We prefer to send items by insured post where the value exceeds 50Euros if you do not want insurance let us know when you place your order. For items costing less than 50Euros we will use regular mail; if you prefer or can also add insurance for a small fee.

We will discuss shipping options with you when you place an order to make sure you are happy with the type of shipping we will use.

Worldwide Shipping

Because of the variety of different despatch methods available worldwide we will discuss options with you should you wish to have an item shipped outside of your Europe so that we can identify the most secure and convienient desptach method for you.

Please ask for a quote for shipping to other countries.

Insured post protects both our customers and us as it enables us to pay a refund in full if goods go missing.

All items are shipped within 48 hours of your payment being confirmed and we always obtain proof the item was posted. We find items within the UK and Europe should arrive within a maximum of 5 working days. Outside of Europe 14 days is about the maximum unless Customs inspect your parcel when another 10 days can be added. We always declare the full value of an item on the Customs declaration and any additional fees charged by Customs are yours to pay.

Guarantee: We guarantee all items offered for sale in the headed sections are either pre-war 1939, or wartime issue, that is manufactured, used or awarded prior to May 1945.

This guarantee does not extend to items offered in the auction section, which are sold as is. The placing of a bid for auction items indicates that this condition has been accepted. If we are unable to determine the originality of an auction item this will be shown in the text description for the piece in question.

Return Policy: A 14-day inspection period is offered with all items. If you need to return an item it must be returned within this period. Any piece that is returned must be sent by insured mail appropriate to the value of the item. If the item is returned in the same condition as it was sent and that any attached original security tag is attached then a full refund will be given minus any postage costs or bank charges if incurred.

Security Tags: Most of the items will sell carry a unique security tag that identifies the item by our inventory number. This is also shown on your receipt and forms part of our guarantee. Please note DO NOT remove this tag unless you accept the item. Removal of the tag invalidates our ability to accept the return of an item as laid down above.
